A VISIT TO JPS LABS

I do enjoy travelling around during the fall up here in upstate New York. When I heard from Joe Skubinski (President of JPS Labs) that he was moving into new facilities, I decided to stop by and check out his new offices on a recent trip out to western New York. JPS's new facilities are located only a couple of miles from thier old offices in the Buffalo area suburb of Depew, New York. The new space consists of few thousand square feet of brand new office/wharhouse/storage space where JPS Labs (which was bursting at the seams at thier old place) has much more room to grow. The picture above shows Joe at the desk of his new office.

The new office offers greately expanded space for things like parts inventory (shown above), some wharehouse space for raw cable (huge spools of cable which I did not get a picture of), more work space for JPS's techs to build/assemble cables (see picture below showing a whole bunch of finished product waiting to be packaged in the assembly room), and lastly a good sized listening room (which was not finished yet when I visited).
